The Role
As an Estate Operative, you will be the backbone of maintaining and enhancing the appearance, safety, and functionality of our estates. You'll work closely with the team to deliver excellent customer service and ensure our communities are welcoming and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of communal areas, including internal and external spaces.
- Inspect and report any safety hazards, repairs, or maintenance issues to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Perform basic gardening tasks such as mowing, pruning, and weeding to maintain green spaces.
- Assist with waste management, including litter picking and bin collections.
- Respond promptly to resident queries and requests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to contribute to the overall improvement of the estate.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as cleaning, grounds maintenance, or caretaking.
- A good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in housing or property management.
- A full, clean driving license.
