Are you an experienced leader in the pre-construction field, looking for a new and exciting opportunity in Birmingham? Our client are seeking a motivated individual to join their dynamic and fast-growing company as the Head of Preconstruction. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact and drive the success of their ambitious growth plans.

As the Head of Preconstruction, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all tenders and projects, ensuring that they are completed to the highest standards and on time. Strong client relationship management skills are essential, as is the ability to implement and manage new processes and ways of working to support the companys upward growth. This role will be based in Birmingham.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the pre-construction process, including bid management, project planning, cost estimation, and design coordination.
- Develop bespoke proposals in collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Manage project budgets and schedules, scrutinize supplier and subcontractor quotations, and oversee the preparation of construction documents.
- Build and expand relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Skills and Attributes:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within preconstruction, with strong management and communication skills.
- Qualifications as a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager would be advantageous, with a degree in a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in reading drawings and design specifications.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
- Birmingham-based.
